Screening at Cornell University’s ‘Migration in the Americas’ Class

“After I Pick the Fruit” was viewed by students individually from copies of the film’s DVD in the Cornell University’s libraries. The following week, Thursday, September 6th,  Nancy Ghertner, the film’s Director, met with the class to discuss the relationship of the film to the current times for migrating people and farmworkers from New York State. The class is co-taught by professors Debra Castillo and Maria Cook. The film was introduced by Professor Mary Jo Dudley from the Cornell Farmworker Program.
