About this Event:

Cornell Law School at Cornell University, the Precarious Workers Initiative of the Cornell Worker Institute, and Ithaca Chapter of Amnesty International (Group 73) will cosponsor a screening of “After I Pick the Fruit.”  The feature length ( 93 min. running time) was researched and filmed during the 2001 to 2011 decade and follows the lives of five farm worker women and their families over that 10 year period. The event takes place Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 4:15 PM in Myron Taylor Hall, Room 290 on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, NY.

The film’s screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the film’s Director, Nancy Ghertner and Mary Jo Dudley, Director of the Cornell Farmworkers Project. This event is free and open to the public.
