After I Pick the Fruit

Come watch the film After I Pick the Fruit and participate in a discussion with Vassar professors and activists about issues relating to migrant and farmworker justice. The documentary, which takes place in upstate New York, follows the stories of 5 migrant farmworker women and the challenges they face in an unjust economic and political system. This event is sponsored by the Rural Migrant Ministry, and is in conjunction with the national Food Chain Worker\’s Alliance push to raise awareness about issues in the food sector in the week leading up to Thanksgiving.
