About this Event:
On Sunday, March 2nd, The First Universalist Society of Central Square, NY. will host as part of the ‘Voices for Worker Equality Series,’ the feature documentary – After I Pick the Fruit. The screening will take place at 12:30 PM at the church in the village of Central Square at the junction of Highway US Rt. 11 and NY State Rt. 49. The event is free and open to the public. Donations collected will benefit farm workers in central New York. Please see the film’s website for synopsis of the film and introduction to the lives of the women featured in the film. The director Nancy Ghertner, who lives in Sodus, NY, will be present at this screening.
